Running the defragmenter in Windows 7 allows your computer to redistribute information across memory clusters, which helps improve performance. In Windows 7, you can defragment disks at any time, or simply set a schedule for automatic defragmentation. We will show you how to do this.

- Before defragmenting, check when this disk was last defragmented.
