Many games have delays. It can be very annoying when your favorite toy "stops". This article is intended for those who love computer games, but hate such annoying lags.
Steps

Step 1. Start the game you want to speed up
Most likely, it will start to slow down a little. Do not worry. Now you are going to fix the given problem.

Step 2. Open the Task Manager application
For this:
- Press the key combination [Ctrl + Alt + Del] (For Windows XP or earlier OS versions);
- Press the key combination [Ctrl + Alt + Del] and select it from the list of security options (For Vista and later OS versions);
- Right click on the taskbar and select the application from the menu.

Step 3. Go to the list of processes
At the top of the Task Manager application there will be several tabs named Applications, Processes, Services, Performance, and so on. Select the tab labeled Processes.

Step 4. Point to your game and prioritize it
This can be done by right-clicking on your game name (with the.exe extension at the end) and selecting the High / Above Normal priority.

Step 5. Now play this game
The lags should disappear.
