Thanks to a screenshot on a Samsung tablet, you can save everything that is currently displayed on the display, including the time and date. To do this, you need to press certain buttons on the device itself.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 / Samsung Galaxy Tab S
Step 1. Open the screen for which you want to take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy Tab
Step 2. Press and hold the Power and Home buttons at the same time until a white border appears around the edges of the screen
Step 3. Release the Power and Home buttons
The screenshot is ready. It will be saved to your tablet's gallery in the Screenshots folder.
- You can also go to Settings> Gesture control. Then activate the Palm Capture feature.
- Open the required screen.
- Press your index finger to the left side of the screen with your palm perpendicular, and then swipe to the right until a white border appears around the edges of the screen. The screenshot will be saved to the device gallery.
Method 2 of 4: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
Step 1. Open the screen you want to take a screenshot of on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
Step 2. Press and hold the Power and Home buttons at the same time for about two seconds
Your screen will blink and a notification bar will appear at the top of the screen with the option to delete, transfer or edit the screenshot. The screenshot will be automatically saved to the device gallery.
Method 3 of 4: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
Step 1. Open the screen for which you want to take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
Step 2. Press and hold the Power and Back buttons at the same time for about two seconds
Your screen will blink and a notification bar will appear at the top of the screen with the option to delete, transfer or edit the screenshot. The screenshot will be automatically saved to the device gallery in the “/ screencapture” folder.
Method 4 of 4: Other Samsung Tablets
Step 1. Open the screen for which you want to take a screenshot on your Samsung tablet
Step 2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time for about two seconds
Your screen will blink and a notification bar will appear at the top of the screen with the option to delete, transfer or edit the screenshot. The screenshot will be automatically saved to the device gallery.
