The default wallpaper on iPad looks pretty good, but you have the option to set an alternate wallpaper display or use your own images to personalize your desktop.
Steps

Step 1. Click on the "Settings" icon on the iPad's desktop to launch the application for changing settings

Step 2. Select the item "Brightness and background image" and go to the image preview mode in the wallpaper section

Step 1. Click on the "Wallpaper" icon

Step 2. Select an image from the Apple Wallpaper collection

Step 3. Select the "Set as screensaver", "Set as wallpaper" or "Set as wallpaper and screensaver" command to display the picture on the iPad screen when it is locked, against the background of icons, or in both cases
Method 2 of 2: Choose a desktop wallpaper from your photos

Step 1. Select “Camera Photo” or “Photo Stream” depending on where the image you want to use is stored

Step 2. Select the desired image

Step 3. Use drag and drop to adjust the desired position of the pattern on the screen

Step 4. Select the "Set as screensaver", "Set as wallpaper" or "Set as wallpaper and screensaver" command to display the picture on the iPad's screen when it is locked, against the background of icons, or in both cases

Step 5. Press the Home button or lock the iPad's screen to view the new desktop wallpaper
Advice
- Remember that the desktop wallpaper is displayed in the background of the application icons. Do not select images containing similar colors for this purpose, as this will make the icons poorly visible on the screen.
- The higher the quality of the wallpaper, the better it will look on your iPad, especially third-generation devices with Retina displays.
