In this article, we will tell you how to increase data transfer speed on iPhone / iPad. This can be done in a number of ways.
Steps

Step 1. Connect to a wireless network, not a mobile Internet
Generally, wireless networks are faster than mobile networks. Therefore, connect to an available wireless network. Read this article to find out how to connect your iPhone to a wireless network, or follow these steps:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Click Wi-Fi.
- Tap the slider next to Wi-Fi.
- Click on wireless network.
- Enter the network password.

Step 2. Use 4G cellular networks
Wireless networks are not available everywhere. Therefore, sometimes you have to connect to the mobile Internet. In this case, we recommend using 4G networks that provide high data transfer rates. To connect to 4G network:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Click Cellular Data.
- Tap Cellular Data Options.
- Click 4G.

Step 3. Tap the slider

near "Enable LTE".
4G is the fastest cellular network, but LTE allows you to reach the fastest 4G speeds. If the iPhone / iPad is connected to a 4G LTE network, the data transfer rate will be faster than 4G networks. While in the Cellular Data Options menu in the Settings app, tap the slider next to Enable LTE at the top of the screen to activate LTE.
If your plan does not have 4G LTE, please contact your mobile operator to add this option to your plan

Step 4. Turn off content updates
Sometimes the content of apps running in the background is refreshed every few seconds. If you turn off content updates, your internet connection speed will increase. To turn off content updates:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Click "General".
- Tap Content Update.
- Click "Content Update" at the top of the screen.
- Click Turn Off.
To turn off content refresh for specific background apps, tap the slider next to the desired app in the Content Refresh menu

Step 5. Turn off automatic downloads
Such downloads take up the bandwidth of the Internet connection and slow down its speed. To disable automatic downloads:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Click on your name or profile picture at the top of the screen.
- Tap iTunes & App Store.
- Click the slider next to Music, Applications, Books & Audiobooks, and Updates.

Step 6. Update the system
iPhone and iPad are running the iOS system. By updating your system, you can troubleshoot network and security issues that might be causing your internet speed to slow. To update iOS:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Click "General".
- Tap Software Update.
- Click Download and Install.

Step 7. Reconnect to the network
To do this, disconnect from it, and then reconnect - this will allow you to temporarily increase the speed of your Internet connection. To quickly reconnect to the network, turn on Airplane mode for 20 seconds and then turn it off. Follow these steps to reconnect to the network:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the airplane icon.
- Wait about 20 seconds.
- Click the airplane icon again.

Step 8. Restart your iPhone / iPad
Do this to troubleshoot (even hidden) issues you are experiencing. To restart your device, press and hold the power button in the upper right corner. When a slider appears on the screen, swipe it to the right. Wait 20 seconds and then press the power button to turn on your iPhone / iPad.

Step 9. Reboot the router
Do this if you cannot connect to a wireless network; a reboot will help you troubleshoot the problem. To reboot the router, turn it off for 30 seconds, turn it on, and then wait about 1 minute for it to fully boot up.
