In this article, we will show you how to use Samsung Smart View on iPhone / iPad. With this app, you can launch apps on your TV, stream media content from your iPhone / iPad, and use your iPhone / iPad as a TV remote control.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: How to set up Smart View

Step 1. Connect iPhone / iPad and Samsung TV to the same wireless network
Only then will Smart View recognize the TV.

Step 2. Install Smart View App on iPhone / iPad
The icon for this application looks like a TV with four curved lines.
- Open the App Store

- Enter samsung smart view in the search bar.
- Tap Samsung Smart View.
- Click Download.

Step 3. Open Smart View
To do this, tap the icon for this application on the home screen or tap “Open” on the Smart View page in the App Store. Smart View will start searching for Samsung TVs.

Step 4. Click on Samsung TV
The app will display Samsung TVs that are connected to the same wireless network.
Click "Allow" to give Smart View access to photos and videos on iPhone. This is necessary to stream media content from your device to your TV

Step 5. Select the TV you want to connect to
Smart View will automatically connect to your Samsung TV, but if it finds multiple TVs, click on the name of the one you want. A message appears on the TV screen asking you to allow your smartphone to connect to the TV.

Step 6. Select Allow on TV
Use your TV remote to select Allow from the command line at the top of your TV screen. The app will connect to the TV.

Step 7. Tap the TV application on your smartphone
When the app connects to the TV, a list of all the TV apps that are installed on the TV is displayed. Click on an app to launch it on your TV. Controls may appear on your smartphone that allow you to select additional options.

Step 8. Click on the "Remote" icon
It looks like a remote control and is located in the lower right corner of the application. Now iPhone / iPad can be used as a remote control for Samsung TV.
Part 2 of 3: How to Transfer Pictures from iPhone to TV Screen

Step 1. Swipe left on TV apps in Smart View app
They are at the top of the screen. Do this until you get to the last app.

Step 2. Tap My Photos, My videos or My music is at the top of the screen.
Photos, videos, and music files that can be played on your Samsung TV are displayed.

Step 3. Select the desired photo, video or song
Tap the thumbnail of the selected photo or video - it will be played on the TV.

Step 4. Click on the backward arrow icon to return to the main menu
This icon is in the upper right corner of the Smart View app.

Part 3 of 3: How to set up a broadcast from a multimedia application

Step 1. Launch the desired application on the iPhone / iPad
If the app is capable of streaming media content such as photos and videos, you can watch that content on your TV screen. Streaming apps like Youtube, Netflix, Hulu can stream photos and videos to your TV screen.

Step 2. Tap the icon

It looks like a square with several curved lines in the lower left corner. This icon is located in the upper right corner of most applications. A pop-up window will appear with a list of devices to which you can connect.

Step 3. Select your Samsung TV from the list of available devices
The app will connect to the TV.

Step 4. Play media content
In the app, select a song or video to stream to your TV. For example, if you have connected the YouTube app, tap the video and it will play on the TV screen, not on the iPhone / iPad screen. Use the playback controls that appear in the app.
