In this article, we are going to show you how to remove a contact from the LINE app on iPhone or iPad. To delete a contact, you must first hide or block it.
Steps
Step 1. Launch LINE app on iPhone / iPad
Click on the white speech cloud icon with the green word "LINE"; this icon is on the home screen.
The deleted contact cannot be restored, so do this if you no longer intend to communicate with the person via LINE
Step 2. Click on the contacts icon
It looks like a silhouette of a person and is located in the lower left corner.
Step 3. Swipe the contact from right to left
Two options will appear below it.
Step 4. Select Hide or Block.
Since a deleted contact cannot be recovered, select any of these options.
If you do not want to permanently delete the contact, select one of the above options, the action of which can be undone later. Select "Hide" to not show the person in your friends list, but you will receive their messages. Select "Block" to not receive messages from the person

You will find this icon in the lower right corner.
Step 6. Click on the gear icon
You will find it in the upper right corner. The LINE settings will open.
Step 7. Scroll down and tap Friends
You will find this option in the middle of the menu.
Step 8. Click Hidden Users or Blocked users.
Select an option depending on whether the user is hidden or blocked.
Step 9. Click Change next to the username
A menu will open at the bottom of the screen.
Step 10. Tap Delete
The selected user will be removed from the list of hidden / blocked users, as well as from the list of contacts.
