How to delete multiple emails at once in Gmail on iPhone or iPad

In this article, we will show you how to select multiple emails in your Gmail inbox at once on iPhone / iPad and then delete them.

Steps

Step 1. Launch the Gmail app

Its icon looks like a white envelope with a red border and is on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Step 2. Click on the round thumbnail next to the letter

Find the email you want to delete, then tap the contact thumbnail to the left of the email.

The email will be highlighted and a gray checkmark will appear instead of the contact thumbnail

Step 3. Select other letters to be deleted

To do this, touch each letter.

A check mark will appear next to each selected email

Step 4. Tap the icon

You will find it in the upper right corner. All selected letters will be deleted from the mailbox.

• When the letters are deleted, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen.
• If you accidentally deleted the letter you want, click "Cancel" in the lower right corner. All deleted emails will be restored.
