In this article, we are going to show you how to crop an existing voice memo on iPhone / iPad.
Steps
Step 1. Launch the "Voice Recorder" application
Click on the sound wave icon on a white background; this icon is on the home screen.
Step 2. Select the desired note
A list of notes will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Tap Edit
This option is at the bottom and center of the screen. The note can now be edited.
Step 4. Tap "Crop"
This icon is in the lower right corner. Trim lines appear on the recording.
Step 5. Drag the left crop line to where the note will start
The fragment of the note that is located to the left of the trim line will be deleted.
Step 6. Drag the right trim line to where the note will end
The fragment of the note that is located to the right of the trim line will be deleted.
Step 7. Touch Crop
It's in the lower right corner. A fragment of the note will remain, which is located between the trim lines.
Step 8. Tap Crop Original or Save as new entry.
If you select the first option, the original file will be overwritten. If you touch the second option, a new file will be created and the original will not be damaged.
Step 9. Click Finish
The edited voice memo will be saved.
