In this article, we will show you how to read MOBI books on iPhone / iPad using Kindle App or MOBI Reader.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Kindle

Step 1. Email yourself the MOBI file
The Kindle app only displays books purchased through it. But the book attached to the letter will open anyway. Read this article to learn how to attach a file to an email.

Step 2. Launch the Mail app on your iPhone / iPad
Click on the icon in the form of a white envelope on a blue background; the icon is at the bottom of the screen.
If you are using another email application, start it

Step 3. Tap the letter with the MOBI file
It will open.

Step 4. Tap Click to Download
It's at the bottom of the email. The Kindle app icon will appear instead of this option.

Step 5. Click on the Kindle icon
It will appear instead of the "Click to download" option. A menu will open.

Step 6. Tap Copy to Kindle
If you don't see this option, swipe over the icons at the top of the menu. The MOBI file opens in the Kindle app.
Method 2 of 2: MOBI Reader

Step 1. Open the App Store

The icon for this app is on the Home screen or in the Dock.

Step 2. Tap Search
You will find this option in the lower right corner of the screen.

Step 3. Enter mobi reader in the search bar
The search results are displayed.

Step 4. Tap Download from MOBI Reader
The icon for this application looks like the word "MOBI" above an open book.

Step 5. Click Install
MOBI Reader will be installed on iPhone / iPad.

Step 6. Launch MOBI Reader
In the App Store, tap Open or tap the MOBI Reader app icon on the home screen.

Step 7. Go to the folder with the MOBI file
If you downloaded it through a web browser, most likely the file is located in the Recently Downloaded folder.
If the MOBI file is on a cloud storage like Google Drive or Dropbox, add those services to the MOBI Reader. Click Edit in the upper right corner of the screen, select your cloud service, and follow the onscreen instructions to access the file

Step 8. Tap the MOBI file
It will open in the MOBI Reader app.
