In this article, we are going to show you how to insert page numbers in Google Docs on iPhone / iPad.
Steps

Step 1. Launch Google Docs on iPhone / iPad
Tap the blue paper icon with white lines and a curled corner. This icon is on the home screen.

Step 2. Tap the document where you want to add page numbers
The document will open.

Step 3. Press +
This icon is in the upper right corner of the screen. The Insert menu appears at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4. Scroll down the menu and tap Page Number
A list of page number positions opens.

Step 5. Select the desired position
You can choose one of four positions - they indicate where the numbers will be on the page. The page numbers will be inserted immediately.
- First position - the number will be displayed in the upper right corner of the page, starting from the first page.
- Second position - the number will be displayed in the upper right corner of the page, starting from the second page.
- Third position - the number will be displayed in the lower right corner of the page, starting from the first page.
- Fourth position - the number will be displayed in the lower right corner of the page, starting from the second page.
