PhotoShop users know that it is very easy to add a text stroke just by right-clicking. However, GIMP 2 also has a way to circle text. It's not as obvious or as easy as right-clicking and choosing Stroke, but it's not difficult at all. Knowing how to do this can help you if needed, or you could even apply that knowledge to something else you are trying to do. Who knows!

Step 1. Open the GIMP file
Before making a selection by color and adding a stroke, open and prepare the file for work.
