- Select the video you want to import.
- Click "Open".

Step 4. Click and drag the desired video from the Project panel to the timeline
Videos that you import into Adobe Premiere Pro appear in the Project panel under the Libraries tab. The Project panel is usually in the lower left corner of the screen, with the Timeline just to the right of it.
If you don't see the Projects panel, Timeline, or any other panel that you want, click Window in the menu at the top of the screen and check the panel you want

Step 5. Click on a video to select it
The video will be highlighted in the timeline.

Step 6. Click Effects
It's a tab at the top of the Project panel. A list of effect categories will be displayed.

Step 7. Press

next to Video Effects.
This arrow-shaped icon is located next to the Video Effects row in the list of effects. A list of video effect categories is displayed.

Step 8. Press

Step 10. Set the boundaries of the clip
Do this using the controls on the Effect Controls tab by clicking and dragging the numeric values next to Left, Right, Top, and Bottom. Increasing these values will add a black border on the corresponding side of the video, decreasing it will remove it. You can click and drag a percentage to change, or double-click to specify your own percentage.
- A value of 0% next to Left, Right, Top, or Bottom means the side is not cut off.
- Increasing the number next to Edge Blur on the Effect Controls tab will blur the trimming border of the video.
- Check the "Enlarge" checkbox to enlarge the visible portion of the trimmed video so that it fills the preview pane completely.
Enlarging low-resolution video can make it fuzzy or pixelated
