If you are a graphic artist, designer, publisher or photographer, there may come a time when you have to flip an image. This article will show you how to do this using Adobe Photoshop. Note: You can access the following commands from the Image / Rotate Canvas menu.
Steps
Step 1. Open the image you want to flip
Step 2. Flip horizontally
This will flip the image along the vertical axis and also swap the left and right sides.
Step 3. Go to Image> Rotate Canvas> Flip Horizontal> OK
Step 4. Flip vertically
This will flip the image along the vertical axis. In other words, it turns the image upside down.
Step 5. Go to Image> Rotate Canvas> Flip Vertical> OK
