PDF files are great for preserving the formatting of the original documents, but they are difficult to edit. Even simple page deletion is not an easy task, as the free Adobe Reader does not provide editing tools. But there are many programs with which you can remove pages from PDF documents.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: CutePDF (Windows)

Step 1. Download CutePDF

This is a free program that installs a virtual printer with which you can create PDF documents. You will use a virtual printer to create a new PDF document from the old one, but without the pages you don't need.

  • Go to cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp and click Free Download and Free Converter.
  • If you only want to delete one or two pages, it's easier and faster to use an online tool.
