Adobe Audition is one of the benchmarks in sound creation and processing. Released six versions of the program, the last of which (Audition CC) was released in June 2013. The program allows you to create, edit, combine sounds and split channels. All this allows you to create professional quality and level audio clips. Therefore, the program is actively used in various areas of the music industry. The program is versatile and has many interesting features, some of which will be described below.
Steps

Step 1. To create a new content and project, click on the "Burn" button
The visual display of the waveform should start with the recording and stop after the recording stops.

Step 2. Select the beginning and end of the segment that you want to edit
In the desired place, click the mouse and select the desired segment (holding the left mouse button). The line will be highlighted in a different color. Double clicking with the left mouse button will select the entire clip for editing. You can listen to the selected area by pressing the space bar. You can change the boundaries of the selected segment with the mouse. You can also remove clicks, sighs and other noise by selecting them and pressing the "Delete."

Step 3. Inserting elements
You can create spaces in your clip or add other sounds and files to it. Move the cursor to the desired place, go to the "Insert" section and select "Audio" to insert another audio file into this segment. It would be more correct to process the inserted file before inserting. But even after insertion, you will have to process the seams and volume to make the file sound more natural.

Step 4. Edit the tone of your clip
To do this, go to "Time and Tone" and adjust the pitch without changing the time of the clip.

Step 5. To lengthen or shorten your audio clip, place the cursor at the end of the clip and press the left mouse button while holding down the "shift" key
To lengthen the clip, drag the mouse to the right; to shorten the clip, drag the mouse to the left.

Step 6. Give your clip an echo effect
Go to the Delay & Echo menu and select the Echo effect. You can choose from various echoes and give the clip, for example, a mountain echo effect. Experiment with the settings for the best quality.
