Visualizations are visualizations in the media player that change based on the tempo of the music being played. Visualization is a great way to listen to music because it gives you visual interaction with the sound of the music. Winamp is one of the most widely used media players and offers a wide range of visualizations to take your music listening experience to the next level.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Enabling Visualization in Winamp

Step 1. Start Winamp

Step 2. Click on the “View” line in the menu bar
It is usually located in the upper right side of the window.

Step 3. Select “Visualizations” from the drop-down menu
When the music starts playing, the visualization will be displayed in the window above the main Winamp window, or in the main window pane.
- You can turn Visualizations on and off using the CTRL + Shift + K key combination.
- You can switch between windowed and full-screen rendering by using the keyboard shortcuts alt = "Image" + Enter (on Windows) or Command + Enter (on Mac).
Part 2 of 3: Changing the Rendering

Step 1. On the Winamp menu, click on the “Options” line
Then click on the “Preferences” line.

Step 2. Scroll down the settings window
Select “Plug-ins” and then “Visualizations”.
Alternatively, you can immediately open this window using the keyboard shortcut CTRL + K

Step 3. Select the rendering plug-in that you want to use
To start showing the visualization, click the “Start” button at the bottom of the window.
Part 3 of 3: Customizing the Visualization Modules

Step 1. Press the Winamp menu button
Select the line “Visualization”.

Step 2. From the menu that appears, select “Configure Plug-in”

Step 3. Select the module and click the “Configure” button
It is usually located at the bottom of the window.
- You can use the keyboard shortcuts Alt + K (Windows) or Command + K (Mac) to directly open the Render Options docker.
- To be able to navigate to customizing the visualization module, you must first enable the visualization feature.
Advice
- Various visualization modules can be downloaded from the Internet.
- The configuration of each of the modules is different from each other. Each module has its own specific settings.
- Some modules display rendering in full screen mode by default. Switching to windowed mode may not work.
