This article teaches you how to convert presentations made in Microsoft PowerPoint into video files that can be opened on Windows and Mac, as well as on mobile devices.
Steps

Step 1. Open your PowerPoint file
To do this, open the program itself (orange and white icon with the letter P), then click on File in the menu bar, then:
- Opento open an already created document, or
- new documentto create a new document accordingly.

Step 2. Click on File
You will find this button in the menu bar at the top of the window.

Step 3. Click on Export
This option is available in the File drop-down menu.

Step 4. Enter a name for the video file
In the "Export as" field, enter the extension that your future video file should have.

Step 5. Select a folder to save the video
This can be done in the window that opens in the previous step: just select the folder where you want to save the video.

Step 6. Open the drop-down menu next to "File Format"
It's at the bottom of the dialog box.

Step 7. Select the video format
There are:
- MOV to save video using Apple's compression format - QuickTime;
- MP4 to save videos using the more common MP4 compression format.

Step 8. Click on Export
The PowerPoint presentation will be saved in the folder of your choice as a video file in the format you specified.
