You can start your day fresh and pleasantly scented, ready to get going. However, in the middle of the day, you may feel that your freshness has disappeared somewhere. Do not worry! You just need to follow a few simple steps to make sure you smell good from morning to evening! Take a bath or shower every day, wear fresh, clean clothes, use deodorant at night rather than in the morning to smell fresh all day.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Maintain Your Personal Hygiene

Step 1. Take a shower or bath every day or at least every other day
To make sure you smell good, you need to shower or bathe regularly (every day or every other day). Taking a shower will help get rid of unpleasant odors that accumulate on your skin and hair for 24 to 48 hours. Turn on warm (not hot) water and shower for 15 minutes to conserve water.

Step 2. While you shower, use a scrub
Wash with soap and a washcloth. Pay special attention to the area behind the ears, the back of the neck, feet, and other sweaty areas (armpits, inner thighs). Remember to wash your chest, pelvis, and back.
- If you have sensitive skin, do not use soaps with strong fragrances and antibacterial ingredients.
- Do not use natural sponges - they disperse bacteria! Use a regular washcloth or simply wash your body by rubbing it with your hands.

Step 3. Wash your hair regularly
It is very important to wash your hair regularly because hair absorbs the odors that are in the air. Massage the shampoo onto your scalp to remove sebum and waste products. Then rinse your hair with clean water. If you want, you can apply conditioner to your hair and hold it for a few minutes, then rinse with cool water.
If your hair is too dry, do not wash it more often than every other day

Step 4. Brush your teeth twice a day
To keep your breath fresh, you need to brush your teeth every day, morning and evening. Apply some toothpaste to your toothbrush and brush your teeth in short vertical or circular strokes. It is necessary to brush the teeth on each side, as well as the tongue and gums. Take at least two minutes each time you brush your teeth.
- Change your toothbrush every 3-4 months to keep bacteria free and to avoid damaging your gums with worn bristles.
- Remember to floss every day.

Step 5. Apply deodorant and / or antiperspirant at night
This may be contrary to common sense, but it is better to apply deodorant at night, rather than in the morning. Thus, the active components of the deodorant have time to be absorbed into the skin and slow down the work of the sweat glands, which results in less sweat and, accordingly, an unpleasant odor.
In addition, you can take a shower in the morning without worrying about washing off the deodorant - it has already been absorbed
Part 2 of 3: Try to mask the smell

Step 1. Wear clean clothes every day
Change all clothing daily, including T-shirt, pants or shorts, and all underwear (bra, underpants, socks). Change all clothing that comes in contact with your skin (T-shirt, bra, underwear). Clean clothes guarantee freshness and pleasant smell all day long.
If your feet are sweating a lot, you may need to change your socks several times a day

Step 2. Wash clothes after each use
It is a good idea to wash your clothes after wearing to get rid of unpleasant odors. The powder does not have to be expensive, nor does it have to contain strong flavors. The powder should only successfully remove all unpleasant odors from clothes and leave freshness and cleanliness.
You can add 120 ml of white vinegar to the washing machine during the wash cycle to help eliminate unpleasant odors and sweat

Step 3. Clean your shoes regularly
Shoes very quickly acquire an unpleasant odor if they are not cleaned in time, because sweat and bacteria accumulate in them. When your shoes get too dirty or get an unpleasant smell, wash them in the washing machine and leave them to dry in direct sunlight. Place newspaper in your shoes between washes all night to get rid of unpleasant odors. To improve the smell of your shoes, you can simply put dry sheets of paper inside.
- If your shoes can't be washed, take a cotton pad, soak it in rubbing alcohol, and wipe the inside of the shoe to kill bacteria.
- If possible, buy several pairs of shoes so that you can change them. Put on one pair today and the next day to give your shoes time to air out and dry.

Step 4. Stay away from spices, garlic and onions
These foods are good for your body, but the smell comes out through the pores on your skin and along with your breath. Alcohol and red meat also affect body odor, so try to eat fewer of these foods. Give preference to fruits and vegetables instead.

Step 5. Maintain water balance
The correct drinking regimen helps to keep the skin hydrated, which makes the scent of different body lotions more absorbed into the skin. Men need to drink 3, 7 liters of water per day, and women - 2, 7 liters.

Step 6. Use a moisturizer with a pleasant scent
After showering, you can apply a pleasantly scented body lotion to your skin. If you plan to apply perfume or cologne later, it is important to make sure that the fragrances are similar, otherwise the scents will mix and create an unpleasant scent. You can reapply the body lotion as needed (for example, after washing your hands).

Step 7. Spray your favorite scent
Try to spray perfume or cologne on pulsating points on your body: wrists, behind the ears, the back of the knee, and the inner surface of the elbows. In such places, the smell lasts longer because it is absorbed into the skin, heats up with body movements and is gradually released during the day.
- If you prefer a lighter scent, sprinkle some perfume / cologne up over you and walk under that cloud.
- Don't rub cologne into your skin! For example, rubbing your wrists together. Otherwise, the fragrance won't last that long.
Part 3 of 3: Refresh yourself during the day

Step 1. Always keep on hand a small set of things that you may need
Chewing gum, mints, mouthwash, wet wipes (to clean your armpits or whatever), deodorant, cologne or perfume, foot spray, body lotion, spare socks, and a T-shirt are all good to have on hand … Simply put these items in a small bag and store them in your desk drawer, backpack, or car.
When the need arises, just grab this kit, excuse me, go to the toilet or bathroom and freshen up

Step 2. If necessary, you can change your T-shirt or socks
This is a completely simple and very effective way to keep a pleasant smell and freshness all day long! If your shirt or socks become sweaty and smell bad, replace them with spare ones. Store dirty items in a zippered plastic bag to prevent odors from spreading to other items. Dirty clothes should be taken home and washed immediately.

Step 3. To freshen your breath, chew gum, rinse your mouth with mouthwash, or eat a peppermint
If you choose to rinse your mouth, choose an alcohol-free mouthwash. Alcohol dries out the lining of the mouth, and dryness is often a common cause of bad breath. Chewed or sucked gum or mints can help restore salivary glands to function. If you opt for the mint flavor, it will add even more freshness to the breath.

Step 4. Reapply the deodorant if necessary
If you exercise a lot, sweat a lot, or just smell bad, you can reapply the deodorant throughout the day. Use a damp cloth to wipe your armpits. Then dry them off with a dry towel and apply deodorant.

Step 5. Apply perfume or cologne
If this fragrance gradually disappears over the course of the day, reapply it. Don't wear too much cologne, just spray a little on your wrists and wait for your body to begin to develop the scent on its own.
