In this article, we will show you how to create a transparent background on your computer in Paint. If the background is solid, Paint will recognize it, and then a picture with a transparent background can be added to another image. But keep in mind that you won't be able to save a drawing with a transparent background in Paint - any transparent area will be painted over with white.
Steps

Step 1. Open the drawing in Microsoft Paint
Right-click on the picture, click "Open With" and select "Paint" from the list of applications.
The background of the picture should be solid or just white

Step 2. Select Color 2 from the toolbar
The current background color must be assigned to Color 2.
For example, if the background of the picture is white, Color 2 will also be white

Step 3. Click on the Eyedropper tool on the toolbar

Step 4. Click on the background of the picture
Color 2 will be assigned the background color. Now you can separate the image from the background.

Step 5. Open the Select menu on the toolbar
You will find this menu in the upper left corner.

Step 6. Click Transparent Selection from the menu
This will activate the transparent selection function, and a check mark will appear next to the specified option.

Step 7. Click Rectangular Marquee or Arbitrary area.
These options are found in the Select menu.
Choose one of these options depending on the shape of the area you want to select

Step 8. Select the picture you want to separate from the background
To do this, hold down the left mouse button and circle this picture.
A black outline appears around the picture and disappears when you release the mouse button

Step 9. Right-click on the selected area
A dotted line appears around this area.

Step 10. Select Cut or Copy to the context menu.
The selected area (picture) will be copied to the clipboard.
That is, the image outlined with a dotted line will be separated from the background

Step 11. Open a new image in Paint
You will paste the copied picture into it.

Step 12. Paste the copied picture
Right click on the new image and select "Paste" from the menu. The cut / copied image with a transparent background will be pasted into the new image.
