If your carpets look a little shabby, try cleaning them before you throw them away and buy new ones. You might get the desired result. This is best done in hot, dry weather so that the carpets dry quickly, or in a warm, dry place if it's winter.
Steps
Step 1. Vacuum up dirt and dust
Step 2. In a small container, mix one part vinegar and three parts boiling water
Step 3. Wipe the carpet or carpeting with this mixture
Use a soft cloth and only slightly dampen the carpet, it should not be completely wet.
Step 4. Wipe the carpet with long, even strokes
Collect rubbish in one place near the carpet and make movements towards the heap.
Step 5. Let it dry completely
Step 6. Heat the bread crumbs
Rub the crumbs onto the surface of the carpet. This will bring out its color.
