Over time, your dishwasher is unable to drain water quickly due to a clogged drain hose. It can get clogged in the place where the hose connects to the main drain line in the house or to the garbage chute. To clean the dishwasher, you will have to remove the drain hose to check if there is any debris stuck in it. Here are the steps on how to clean your dishwasher.
Steps

Step 1. Remove the panel that is under the door
To start cleaning the dishwasher, you must have access to a hose. Remove the panel by removing the screws that are on the panel. They can be above or below the panel

Step 2. Locate the drain hose and disconnect it
The hose should be connected to the pump and sink, below the hose. Place a pan under the hose to catch any debris or overflowing water. Using pliers, squeeze the clamp and then slide it over the drain hose. Then remove the hose and wiggle it in your hands to try to knock all the debris out of it. Hold both ends of the hose until nothing falls out. Drain any trash you may have thrown into the pot or trash can

Step 3. Run water through the hose to remove any remaining debris
Try to use the water at full strength to loosen the blockage if you don't get any improvement by moving it. A garden hose can be used for this. Place the end of the garden hose over the drain hose and turn on the water at full power. The pressure should knock out any remaining debris

Step 4. Replace the drain hose if it is broken or cannot be cleaned
If running water through the drain hose has not removed the blockage, or if you find your hose is broken, you will need to replace it. You can buy a new hose at any hardware store
