Steps
Method 1 of 2: Boiling water
Step 1. Place the bronze item in boiling water in a large container
Step 2. Wash the bronze item with soapy water and a piece of flannel
Rub lightly to remove all dirt and stains.
Step 3. Dry with chamois leather
Make sure the item is completely dry, otherwise, its condition may worsen.
Method 2 of 2: Salt, vinegar, and flour
Step 1. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt in 1 cup of white vinegar
Add flour and stir to create a paste.
Step 2. Take a bronze item and apply the paste evenly
Leave it on for 15 minutes and up to an hour.
Step 3. Rinse off with warm water
