Method 1 of 2: The Shampoo Method
This method is effective if the hair is not heavily soiled with dye, just a few strands.
Step 1. Dampen your hair with warm water or you can take a warm shower
Massage the part of the scalp where the hair is stained with paint. This will help soften dried paint.
Step 2. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the hair and massage gently into the scalp and hair
Leave the shampoo on your hair for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it off.
Step 3. Take a fine-toothed comb and gently run through your hair to remove softened paint
Step 4. Once all the paint has been removed, rinse your hair thoroughly with water

Method 2 of 2: The Oil Method
If the 'shampoo method' does not work, you can try removing the paint with oil, which is most effective for dried out stains.
Step 1. Take some olive oil or baby oil
Pour the oil into your palms and rub it between your palms.
Step 2. Use your fingers to rub hair contaminated with dye
The oil should cover the hair, but not drip from it.
Step 3. Take a fine-toothed comb and try to comb out the paint
Do this gently, there is no need to brush the entire length of your hair.
Step 4. Continue brushing out the paint
If necessary, repeat the procedure using oil.

- After using the oil, you will get the same effect as a hair conditioner, your hair will become soft.
- The above methods will be more effective on fresh dye that has not yet dried on your hair. After the paint is dry, you can still remove it, but it will take longer.
