Step 6. Align the appropriate hole types in the top handle with the squeegee part on the bottom

Push the bottom edge of the handle into these matching holes until you hear a “click” sound. The two holes and parts look the same at first glance, so be careful not to insert the wrong part into the wrong hole.

Advice

  • Be careful. Swiffer WetJets will break quite easily if used in harsh environments. Make sure the holes are correctly aligned with the part.
  • Control the spraying of the cleaning solution onto the surface. The purple-pink button at the top of the handle, when pressed, will spray solution from the bottom head. Otherwise, if oversprayed, your cleaning panels will get wet and may even soak the entire head, causing the solution to lag when another panel is replaced. (Hang on its side so it can dry and then can be replaced.)

Warnings

  • This manual will teach you that the Swiffer WetJet is not designed to tackle dirt on carpets. It is designed for all types of flooring from linoleum to wood parquet or laminate that are used without carpets.
