You turn on the water, but there is no hot water, after turning off and draining the water from the hot water system to eliminate leaks?
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Basic method

Step 1. Be sure to check if there is hot water supply

Step 2. If cold water runs normally, but there is no hot water or it barely flows, an air lock may have formed in the system (when air accumulates in the pipe, thereby blocking it)

Step 3. Take a piece of garden hose about 30 cm long and duct tape

Step 4. Connect the cold water faucet to the hot water faucet with a hose and duct tape

Step 5. Open a hot water tap

Step 6. Open the cold water tap for 3-5 seconds

Step 7. Make sure the airlock is removed

Step 8. Test the hot water in another tap

Step 9. Repeat steps 5-8 two or three times

Step 10. If hot water flows normally, close all taps and disconnect the hose

Step 11. If not, call the plumber
!
Method 2 of 2: Alternative method

Step 1. Disconnect the blue hose from the washing machine

Step 2. Disconnect the red hose that connects the hot water to the washing machine (that is, where the pipe connects to the water supply)

Step 3. Attach the blue hose to the red hose

Step 4. You now have a 'U' joint between the hot and cold water pipes

Step 5. Open a hot water tap

Step 6. Open the cold water tap for 3-5 seconds

Step 7. Make sure the airlock is removed

Step 8. Test the hot water in another tap

Step 9. Repeat steps 5-8 two or three times

Step 10. If hot water flows normally, close all taps and disconnect the hose

Step 11. If not, call the plumber
!
Advice
- After all this, check if any air pockets have been removed.
- Similar to these methods, you can use a shower mixer by covering the shower head with a thin plastic bag.
Warnings
- Hot water can burn even if there is an air lock.
- Do not use such methods if you have a pump to create pressure in the system.
