- Remember to rinse your dog thoroughly with warm water to completely remove the solution, and dry your dog when you're done.

Step 1. Remove bad odor as soon as possible

Step 1: Consider using a traditional odor remover
There are many formulated cleaning sprays and solutions available to remove unpleasant odors from furniture, clothing, and pets.
These products aren't always necessary, but if you've already used all of your tools that don't work, you can either wait for the smell to clear up on its own, or buy a standard cleanser to speed up the process

- If you don't want to use hydrogen peroxide, you can also try washing your dog with any pet washing shampoo and warm water, creating a lot of lather. If the dog is small and docile, use a small bath or shower. If your dog weighs 40 pounds (18 kg) or more, place him on a chain or leash in the yard so you have complete control over him. It is very important to use detergent shampoo instead of soap, as the detergent breaks down the oils that cause unpleasant odors and makes them easier to remove.
- Prevent bad odors in your yard, don't leave food outside, and make sure trash cans are securely closed.
- Dogs with long coats tend to retain foul odor longer than short coats.
