Tea tree oil is ideal for treating many cosmetic imperfections such as acne and other skin problems. Plus, it can be mixed with other ingredients to create a natural and non-toxic cleanser. Due to its antibacterial and antibacterial properties, tea tree oil is useful for topical (topical) treatment and cleansing, but is toxic if taken internally. Step 3. Remove the mold
Mold grows on damp, warm surfaces. It is usually white or black in color and has a fluffy texture. Mix 5-10 drops of tea tree oil and 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Shake the solution and then spray on the mold. Leave it to soak for 3-5 minutes and then wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Step 4. Clean the washing machine

Step 5. Create your own laundry napkins
Apply 5 drops of tea tree oil to laundry balls or cotton rags (make them from an old T-shirt). Place balls or rags in clothes in the washing machine. They can be used multiple times.

Step 6. Drive away insects and pests
Many pests do not like the smell of tea tree oil. Add about 20 drops of the product to a spray bottle and then fill it with water. Shake well and spray the oil around doorways and cracks where insects and pests are most likely to enter your home.
Method 2 of 2: Using Tea Tree Oil on the Body
Step 1. Treat acne
Tea tree oil helps to get rid of acne-causing bacteria. Add 1-3 drops of tea tree oil to your cleanser or moisturizer. Tea tree oil can also be mixed with a teaspoon of coconut oil and applied to your face. Use a cotton ball to spread the mixture on your face and let it soak into your skin.

Step 2. Treat skin problems
Mix 1 teaspoon (15 ml) of base oil (olive, coconut, jojoba oil) and 8-10 drops of tea tree oil, and apply the mixture to the irritated skin. It will help relieve itching, irritation, signs of eczema, water warts, and viral skin infections in both children and adults. This mixture can also be used for allergic reactions to nickel.

Step 3. Add tea tree oil to shampoo
Add 3-4 drops of tea tree oil to your regular shampoo. This mixture will help reduce flaky scalp, dandruff, and psoriasis. Add a few drops to the shampoo and wash your hair as usual.
- You can also mix a few drops of tea tree oil with a base oil (such as olive, coconut, or jojoba oil) and apply directly to your scalp. Leave it on for an hour and then wash your hair as usual.
- The scientific evidence for the effectiveness of tea tree oil in treating scalp conditions has yet to be confirmed.
Step 4. Get rid of fungal disease of the feet and toenails
Mix equal parts tea tree oil with olive oil and rub the mixture on the affected area twice a day. It will take about 4 weeks for successful treatment. If you have toenail fungus, apply a 100% tea tree oil solution to the infected toe 2 times daily for 6 months.
If you don't want to use undiluted, mix 1 teaspoon of coconut oil with 1-2 drops of tea tree oil and apply to your toe with a cotton pad. Place a cotton swab over your toe, wrap with gauze and leave overnight
Step 5. Treat the vaginal infection
Tea tree oil can be used for both bacterial infections and thrush. Soak a swab with coconut or olive oil, then add 2-4 drops of tea tree oil. Insert the swab inside and leave for an hour. Do this for 3-5 days if symptoms persist.

Step 6. Find out when to use tea tree oil
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or giving birth, you need to avoid applying tea tree oil to your body. It can weaken contractions. If you know you are allergic or sensitive to tea tree oil, Peruvian balsam, benzoin gum, rosin, tinctures, eucalyptus, or myrtle plants, you should not use tea tree oil.
- Women should not apply tea tree oil to their breasts as it may have hormonal properties.
- Boys who have not reached puberty should also avoid using tea tree oil as it can lead to the growth of breast tissue.
- If you have linear IgA dermatosis (an immunopathological disorder), you should not use tea tree oil as it can cause blistering.
