Read on to learn how you can drain your hot tub with a garden hose effortlessly. You just need to make a siphon so that the force of gravity does all the work for you.
Steps

Step 1. Connect the hose to a faucet with a downward-curved nose (usually there is such a faucet on the wall of the house)
Put the other end in the tub and start filling it with water. You need to fill the hose with water to get rid of any trapped air.

Step 2. As soon as the water flows in a continuous stream, turn on the tap
Make sure that the end of the hose remains submerged in the water, otherwise you will have to repeat this procedure!

Step 3. Bend the hose about 60 cm from the tap connection
This is to prevent water from flowing out of the hose.

Step 4. Disconnect the hose from the tap
Keep the hose bent until you lower the end (which you hold) below the level of the tub. Then the laws of physics begin to operate.

Step 5. Decide in advance where you will drain the water
Lower the end of the hose below the level of the tub, pointing it where the water should flow. Unfold the hose and water will start to flow out. This is how the siphon principle works!
The essence of this principle is that water always flows from top to bottom. That is, the pressure of the water in the spa will push the water out of the hose because the end of the hose is lower than the water level in the tub. The main thing is that the hose is completely filled with water and one end of it is lowered to the bottom of the bath. When the other end of the hose is below the level of the tub, water will start to flow

Step 6. Get rid of the water
Wipe, dry and cover the tub according to the instructions for use.
Advice
- The lower the drain end of the hose is, the faster the water will flow out.
- The drained water can be used for watering plants and other purposes.
- Do not hose the plants. In such water there is a lot of chlorine and no oxygen!
