Method 1 of 6: Vinegar

Step 1. This is the most environmentally friendly method and does not require the use of bleach or chemicals to clean dishes

Step 2. Place 1 cup of vinegar over medium heat until hot

Step 3. Soak the mug in hot vinegar for 4 hours or leave overnight

Step 4. Alternatively, you can soak a rag in baking soda and scrub the inside of the mug until it is completely clean
Method 2 of 6: Bleach

Step 1. Pour 2 parts hot water and 2 parts bleach into a large bowl

Step 2. Soak the mug overnight

Step 3. Using a roughened sponge, rub the mug vigorously until it is completely clean
Method 3 of 6: Salt

Step 1. Wet the inside of the mug with water

Step 2. After adding 1 tablespoon of salt, scrub the mug until completely clean
Method 4 of 6: Denture Tablet

Step 1. Drop a Denture tablet into a mug filled with hot water

Step 2. Let the stain dissolve and rinse the dishes clean
Method 5 of 6: stain remover

Step 1. Take a high quality stain remover such as Oxi-Clean and immerse the inside of the mug in hot water

Step 2. Rinse thoroughly

Step 1. Wipe the dry cup with a slightly dampened Magic Eraser sponge
