A DIY pillow is a great way to decorate a room or make a meaningful gift. Many pillow patterns include sewing and embroidery. If you don't want to use a sewing machine, you can make a pillow case out of fleece, a synthetic fabric that won't rub. Fleece also comes in a variety of colors and designs, such as a sports team logo or cartoon characters. This product is a great choice for children or adults. You can buy all the materials you need from a fabric store or online and complete the project within an hour. Read on to learn how to make a fleece pillow without sewing.
Steps

Step 1. Buy 1 meter each of 2 types of fleece
Most fabric stores offer fleece in a variety of colors, patterns and thicknesses. Don't go for the thickest fleece as it can be tricky to work with.

Step 2. Buy a pillow that is 60 cm or less
You can also buy fiberfill and fill the pillow yourself. This design can be easily adapted to suit the shape of the pillow you want to use.

Step 3. Cut the fleece so that it is 10 cm longer and wider than your pillow
You will need 5 cm of extra fabric on each side for the fringe. Use sharp fabric scissors or circular scissors and a ruler to cut the fabric straight.
If you want more fringe, cut each piece of fleece so that it is 20 cm to 30 cm longer and wider than the pillow. If a child makes the pillow, be sure to make the fringe wider

Step 4. Lay the 2 pieces of fleece one on top of the other, aligning them as closely as possible
Start at one end and cut the fringe every 2.5 cm. You will be cutting in depth to the width of the fringe you have chosen.
For example, you cut the fleece so that it is 20 cm longer and wider than the pillow, which leaves 10 cm on each side for the fringe. Make a 10 cm incision in the fringe every 2.5 cm. If the fabric is 30 cm larger than the pillow, make 15 cm incisions in the fringe every 2.5 cm

Step 5. Cut a small square in each corner of the fleece
This will get rid of excess fabric and give the pillow a taut shape. Cut out a 5 cm square for the small pillow, a 10 cm square for the medium pillow, and a 15 cm square for the larger pillow.

Step 6. Join the wrong sides of the fleece together
The fringe must match. Take a piece of fringe from each side of the fleece and tie them together very tightly with a double knot.

Step 7. Continue tying the sides together until you have finished 3 sides
When you get to the last side, place a pillow or fiber filling in the hole. Tie a fringe on the last side with double knots.
