Method 1 of 3: How to put a heart on a post or comment
Step 1. Open Facebook on your computer or mobile device
This can be done in a web browser at https://www.facebook.com or using the mobile application.
Step 2. Find the required post or comment
You can put a heart on any post or comment.
Your heart will increase the number of hearts displayed below the post or comment
Step 3. Move your mouse over the Like option
It is located under each post or comment. A menu will open.
In the mobile application, press and hold the "Like" option
Step 4. Click on the heart-shaped icon in the menu
This will add a heart to the selected post or comment.
Method 2 of 3: How to add a heart emoji
Step 1. Open Facebook on your computer or mobile device
This can be done in a web browser at https://www.facebook.com or using the mobile application.
Step 2. Click on the text box
For example, the new post text box at the top of the news feed, or the comment text box.
Step 3. Enter <3 in the text box
This will create a red heart emoji that appears in your post or comment.
Step 4. Click on the emoji icon
A list of available emoticons will open.
- In your web browser on your computer, click the smiling emoticon in the lower-right corner of the text box.
- In the mobile app, tap the emoji icon in the bottom corner of your keyboard.
Step 5. Find and select a heart-shaped emoticon
It will be added to your message.
