Steps
Method 1 of 4: Cartoon Spider

Step 1. Draw a small circle for the spider's head and a larger circle for the torso

Step 2. Draw two oblong ovals for the spider's pedipalps (jaws)

Step 3. Draw four zigzag lines on one side of the spider's torso
These will be the legs of the spider.

Step 4. Draw the same zigzag lines on the opposite side of the spider

Step 5. Draw two small circles for the spider's eyes

Step 6. Trace the body of the spider along the contour

Step 7. Draw the legs of the spider using zigzags as markings

Step 8. Make the spider furry by adding short small strokes on its head and torso
Paint over the spider's eyes.

Step 9. Erase unnecessary lines and color in the drawing
Method 2 of 4: Realistic Spider

Step 1. Draw an oval for the body of the spider
Add a rounded square for the head.

Step 2. Draw four curved lines extending from the spider's torso
Mark the legs of the spider with small circles and serifs so that later it will be easier to draw the legs in detail.

Step 3. Repeat the previous step for the opposite side of the spider

Step 4. Add the necessary details on the head and body of the spider
Draw the dope on the back of the spider's torso.

Step 5. Draw the legs of the spider, adding thickness to them, and also showing that they are divided into segments

Step 6. Do the same for the legs on the opposite side of the spider

Step 7. Draw the eyes of the spider using small circles and a pedipalp (jaw), adding protruding shapes on the head

Step 8. Erase unnecessary lines and add chaotic short strokes on the spider's abdomen

Step 9. Color in the drawing
Method 3 of 4: Tarantula

Step 1. Draw a semicircle for the spider's torso

Step 2. Draw a smaller semicircle for the head

Step 3. Draw two ovals for the head
This will be the mouth of the tarantula.

Step 4. Draw some ovals for the pedipalps (jaws) of the spider

Step 5. Draw the legs using a combination of straight and curved lines extending from the body of the spider

Step 6. Draw small ovals for the legs of the tarantula

Step 7. Outline the main parts of the tarantula

Step 8. Draw the eyes by adding eight points on the head
Add chaotic short strokes all over the body of the tarantula.

Step 9. Erase unnecessary lines

Step 1. Draw a large oval for the torso, and a smaller oval for the head

Step 2. Draw four curved lines extending from two sides of the spider's torso

Step 3. Draw two hourglass shaped triangles on the spider's abdomen
