This article will show you how to delete a fan page you created on Facebook. To do this, you need to be an administrator. Please be aware that deleting a fan page has nothing to do with deleting your Facebook account.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the Facebook app
Step 1. Launch the Facebook app
Click the white "f" icon on a blue background. If you are already signed in to your account, a news feed will open.
If you are not yet logged in to Facebook, enter your email address (or phone number) and password, and then click Sign In
Step 2. Tap ☰
This icon is located in the lower right corner of the screen (iPhone) or in the upper right corner of the screen (Android device).
Step 3. Click on the fanpage name
You will find it at the top of the menu under your name.
If there is no fan page in the menu, scroll down and tap Pages (in some cases, you'll need to tap All first)
Step 4. Tap “
. ". You will find this icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 5. Click Settings
It's near the top of the menu.
Step 6. Tap General
You will find this option at the top of the Settings page.
Step 7. Scroll down and click Remove
This link is located at the bottom of the page.
Step 8. Tap Delete Page
This blue button is at the top of the screen. When you click on this button, you have 14 days to undo the deletion. After this period, the system will ask you to confirm the deletion of the page.
Method 2 of 2: Using the Facebook website
Step 1. Go to your Facebook page
If you are already signed in to your account, a news feed will open.
If you are not yet logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or phone number) in the upper right corner of the screen, and then click Sign In
Step 2. Tap the fan page name
You will find it at the top right of the news feed under the Pages section below your name.
Step 3. Click Settings
This option is located at the top right of the screen.
Step 4. Scroll down and click Delete Page
You will find this option at the bottom of the screen; a link will appear on the screen with which you can delete the page.
Step 5. Tap the "Delete" link
You will find this link at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6. Click Delete Page
This blue button is in the pop-up window. The page will be added to the queue for deletion and hidden from search engines. After 14 days, the system will ask you to confirm the deletion of the page; then the page will be removed permanently.
