Steps
Step 1. Log in to Facebook
Open the website with your preferred browser on your desktop computer. When you're on the webpage, log in with your account. To do this, you will need to enter your username and password.
There are several ways how your password can be re-sent or retrieved if you encounter any difficulties when entering the site. All you need is the email address you provided during registration
Step 2. Left-click on the inverted triangle sign
It is usually located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Scroll down to "Settings" and left-click again
You will now be taken to a screen that says "General Account Settings". Here you will see tabs on the left side.
Step 4. Go to the "Mobile version" tab
There will be a section labeled "Your Phones".
Step 5. Click on the link "Add another mobile phone number"
Step 6. Enter your mobile phone number
After that you will receive an SMS with a confirmation code.
Step 7. Enter the verification code in the window that appears on the screen
The mobile device is now linked to Facebook and you will receive notifications whenever someone interacts with your account!
