This article will show you how to find a friend's location on Facebook Messenger using Live Location.
Steps

Step 1. Launch Facebook Messenger
It is a blue speech bubble with a white lightning bolt inside. Look for it on your desktop or in the app drawer.

Step 2. Tap on the friend you want to find
So you will find yourself on the screen of correspondence with him.

Step 3. Turn on the "Live geodata" function
This requires you and your friend to share your location. Here's how to do it:
- Tap the blue arrow. If not, tap the three-dotted square icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, and then select Geodata.
- Tap the submit button (white-blue arrow) next to the Share Location button. Your location will appear in the correspondence.

Step 4. Tap the card that your friend sent you
When your friend shares his location with you, his map will also appear in the conversation. Tap the map to see its location, which is marked with a red pin.
- Your location will also appear on your friend's map. It will be marked with a blue dot.
- To open a friend's location in Google Maps, tap the right arrow below the map, select Maps, and then tap Always. You will now see a more detailed map and also find out how to get to your friend's location easier.
