Steps
Method 1 of 3: How to Download an App on iPhone

Step 1. Launch the Settings app on the iPhone
Click on the gray gear icon on the home screen.

Step 2. Tap Wi-Fi
You will find this option at the top of the screen.

Step 3. Move the slider next to Wi-Fi to the "Off" position
It will turn white, that is, the wireless network module on the smartphone will be disabled. The device will not be connected to the Internet until you turn on the mobile Internet.

Step 4. Press the "Back" button
You will find it in the upper left corner; you will be taken to the main settings page.

Step 5. Tap Cellular
You will find this option under the "Wi-Fi" option.

Step 6. Move the slider beside Cellular data to the "Enable" position
It will turn green, that is, now the mobile Internet is activated on the device.

Step 7. Scroll down and move the App Store slider to the "Enable" position
It will turn green. You will find this option under "Use Cellular Data For". Apps from the App Store can now be downloaded using the mobile internet rather than the wireless network.

Step 8. Press the Home button on iPhone
It's a round button below the screen. The Settings app will close and you will be taken to the home screen.

Step 9. Launch the App Store app
Click on the icon (on the home screen) in the form of a white letter "A" on a blue background.

Step 10. Find the required application
To do this, at the bottom of the screen, go to one of the following tabs: "Featured", "Categories" and "Top Charts", or just click "Search" if you know the name of the required application.

Step 11. Install the application
Do it as if you were using a wireless network. The application will be loaded via the mobile internet.
Method 2 of 3: How to download the application to your computer

Step 1. Launch the Settings app on the iPhone
Click on the gray gear icon on the home screen.

Step 2. Tap Cellular

Step 3. Move the slider beside Cellular data to the "Enable" position
It will turn green, that is, the mobile Internet is now activated on the device.

Step 4. Tap Tethering
In this mode, the Internet connection of your smartphone can be shared (wirelessly, Bluetooth or USB cable) with other devices. That is, the computer can be connected to the Internet via the iPhone and use the mobile Internet.

Step 5. Move the slider next to Modem Mode to the "Enable" position
It will turn green.

Step 6. Connect iPhone to your computer
- To connect using a wireless network, on your computer, open the wireless network settings and select your iPhone there.
- If you are using Bluetooth, please connect your iPhone to your computer first. Now on your computer, open the Bluetooth settings and select your iPhone there.
- If you decide to use a USB cable, connect your iPhone to your computer. Now open your computer settings and select your iPhone in the list of network services.

Step 7. Launch iTunes on your computer
IPhone apps can be downloaded from the App Store to your computer using iTunes.

Step 8. Download the application from the iTunes App Store (as usual)
On the computer version of iTunes, you can browse the App Store apps, download them, and then sync with your iPhone. The computer will use the iPhone as a modem to connect to the Internet, and applications will be downloaded over the mobile Internet.

Step 9. Sync iPhone with iTunes

Method 3 of 3: How to automatically update apps without connecting to a wireless network

Step 1. Launch the Settings app on the iPhone
Click on the gray gear icon on the home screen.

Step 2. Scroll down and tap iTunes & App Store

Step 3. Move the Updates slider to the "Enable" position
It will turn green. You will find this option under "Automatic download". The iPhone will now automatically update the installed apps.

Step 4. Move the slider next to Use Cellular Data to the "Enable" position
It will turn green. The iPhone will now use the mobile internet to update installed applications.

Warnings
- If an app in the App Store is larger than 100 MB, you cannot download it without connecting to a wireless network. This limit is set by the iPhone and cannot be changed.
- Some mobile operators block the "Modem Mode" function in their tariff plans and / or device settings.
- The iTunes App Store is different from the Mac App Store. You can download iPhone apps in iTunes, and then sync them with your smartphone.
