Steps
Method 1 of 3: Plain Ground Turkey

Step 1. Preheat the pan
Preheat the skillet over medium heat about five minutes before starting to warm up very well.

Step 2. Pat the minced meat dry with a paper towel
Minced meat will cook better if you remove excess liquid.

Step 3. Add 2 tbsp
l. vegetable or olive oil in a pan.

Step 4. Shape the minced meat into small pieces and place in the skillet
Leave a distance between them so that the minced meat does not stick together.

Step 5. Bring it to readiness
When all the minced meat is in the pan, let it cook, do not stir it, do not shake the pan. This way the chunks will have a crispy crust.

Step 6. Turn the pieces over
When the bottom of the slices is browned (after a few minutes), turn the slices over to the other side and leave to cook.

Step 7. Remove from heat
When the slices are completely fried, remove them from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain off excess fat.

Step 8. Done
The turkey mince is now ready for use in other recipes: chili, lasagna, pasta, etc.
Method 2 of 3: Grilled Turkey Patties

Step 1. Mix minced meat with spices
Place the ground turkey in a large bowl. Add spices and stir well with a spoon or hands. Knead the minced meat for 2 minutes so that the spices are evenly distributed over the minced meat.
- Try different spices depending on the flavor you want. Add sage, oregano, or rosemary.
- You can add 1/2 cup Parmesan for extra flavor.

Step 2. Shape the patties
Place about 1/3 cup of minced meat in the palm of your hand and make a patty with both hands. Put it on a plate and move on to the next one. Continue until you have used up all the minced meat.

Step 3. Heat the oil in a skillet
Place the skillet over medium heat. Add oil and heat it for a minute or two. Make sure the butter is completely covering the bottom of the pan so that the patties don't stick.
- These cutlets can also be cooked in the oven under the broiler. Turn on the broiler and preheat the oven well before placing the meat in it.
- Grilling is a good way to cook patties. Preheat your grill over medium high heat.

Step 4. Prepare the patties
Place the patties in the skillet. Place as many as will fit so that they do not touch each other. Cook on one side for 3 minutes or until brown. Turn over and cook for another 3 minutes on the other side. Place on a plate when done.
- You can place a wedge of cheese on the cutlet after turning it over to melt the cheese. Cover the pan with a lid to melt the cheese.
- Sprinkle spices over the cutlets.
- Do not overcook the patties or they will be too dry as the turkey is low in fat.

Step 5. Serve the patties
You can serve them with side dishes and sauces, or in a bun with ketchup, mayonnaise, tomato slices, etc. for a turkey burger.
Method 3 of 3: Baked Turkey Meatballs

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees

Step 2. Mix ingredients
Place the meat, spices, onion, garlic, tomato paste, egg, and breadcrumbs into a bowl. Stir the ingredients with clean hands. Knead the minced meat for a few minutes to get an even mass.

Step 3. Shape the meatballs
Roll into balls with your hands from a small amount of minced meat. Place on a greased baking sheet or baking paper. Use all the minced meat.
- Use a spoon to make the balls the same size.
- The baking sheet should have edges to prevent them from rolling.

Step 4. Prepare the meatballs
Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and serve with tomato sauce.

- Do not place the minced meat too close to each other, otherwise it will be steamed rather than fried.
- A little fat won't hurt. Lean meats are usually dry and tasteless.
- Patience: don't mix the pieces!
