In this article, we will tell you how to find files (documents, photos, videos, and others) that you downloaded to your Android device.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the file manager

Step 1. Open the Application Drawer
On it you will find the icons of all installed applications. To open this panel, click on the 6-9 dot grid icon; it's at the bottom of the home screen.

Step 2. Tap Downloads, Files or File Manager
The app name depends on the device model.
If you can't find the specified or similar app, it might not be on your device at all. In this case, install the app first

Step 3. Tap a folder
If only one folder is shown on the screen, tap on it. If an SD card is inserted into the device, you will find two folders on the screen - one for the SD card and the other for the internal memory. The Downloads folder can be located in either of these two folders.

Step 4. Click Downloads
You may have to scroll down the page to find this folder - all downloaded files are stored in it.
If you don't see the Downloads folder, look in other folders for it
Method 2 of 2: Using Chrome

Step 1. Launch Chrome
Tap the red-blue-yellow-green circle icon on your home screen or app drawer.
With this method, you will find the files downloaded through Chrome

Step 2. Tap ⁝
You will find this icon in the upper right corner.

Step 3. Click Downloads
A list of downloaded files will open.
- To view only a specific type of downloaded files, press "☰" and then select the desired file type (for example, audio or image).
- To find a specific downloaded file, tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen.
