As a regular Android user, you sometimes wish you didn't have to type the URL of your favorite website every time you visit it. Such a function will simplify your actions and will be very convenient to use.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Using Android 4.2+ Browser

Step 1. Open your Android web browser
When we talk about the Android web browser, we don't mean Chrome. This is a browser with a globe icon.

Step 2. Go to the desired website

Step 3. Click on the Create Bookmark icon
This is the star icon on the right side of the address bar. A window will appear with information in which you will be asked to name your bookmark and save it in a specific location.

Step 4. Click on the drop-down menu next to Add To choice

Step 5. Click on "Home Screen." That's all! You should now be able to see the bookmark on the home screen.
Method 2 of 4: Using the Dolphin Browser

Step 1. Launch Dolphin Browser
You can click on the browser icon on the home screen.
Alternatively, you can find the Dolphin browser app in the list of apps

Step 2. Open the web page you need

Step 3. Click on the Add Bookmark icon
It's a plus sign icon on the left side of the address bar.

Step 4. Click on "Send to Desktop." Everything!
Method 3 of 4: Using Chrome for Android

Step 1. Launch the Google Chrome browser application
Click on the home screen icon or on the application in the list of applications.

Step 2. Go to the web page you need

Step 3. Press the Menu button
The appearance of the menu button will depend on your device; usually it is a button with three horizontal lines, or you can use your phone's menu button.

Step 4. Click on "Add to Home Screen." Done!
Method 4 of 4: Using Firefox

Step 1. Launch the Mozilla Firefox application
Just click on the Firefox icon on your home screen or in the list of applications.

Step 2. Go to the desired website

Step 3. Press and hold on the address bar
Some options will appear.

Step 4. Select “Add to Home Screen.” That's all!
